Set for a spring 2012 release, “Supernova” is being recorded at our home studio again, using that fancy mic that y’all helped us buy for our last album, “Everything’s Easy.” This will be our first CD with our newest and most kinetic member, JJ “Animal” Jones, and we’ve been recording much of it live, so that it’ll sound more like the Girlyman you’re used to hearing at shows. Which we think is a good thing. :)

For this album, the band is shooting for a looser, “live” sound, which means recording instruments at the same time, rather than one at a time. To prevent microphone “bleedthrough”, they need to have their own spaces. Enter the closets.
